World of Wool – a joint afternoon of needlework
The Gardens of the World visitor centre invites you to an afternoon of handicrafts. In a cosy setting, participants get stuck into their woolly projects, swap tips and tricks, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Whether you’re crocheting a complicated blanket, knitting socks or just trying your hand at your first chain stitch – you’ll find inspiration and company here.
Please bring your project and any accessories with you. Only a small selection of materials is available on site.
Where: Gardens of the World, open space in the visitor centre (Blumberger Damm 44, 12685 Berlin)
Who: All knitting and crochet enthusiasts – or anyone who’d like to become one – are welcome!
When: every 4th Saturday of the month between April and October, from 3 pm to 6 pm
Cost: the event is free of charge, plus park admission
