Film series AugenBlicke in the castle
Elia Kazan, who already directed the successful Broadway premiere of Tennessee Williams' play, also directs the film version. The effectively acted, psychological drama premiered at the Venice Film Festival, won 4 Oscars and became the breakthrough of his career for 27-year-old Marlon Brando.
