Masters and Students

Even the greatest masters started small—and probably learned from the right people.

Recorder player Stefan Temmingh and his former student Mathis Wolfer, who now teaches at the University of Music in Freiburg himself, bring the musical teaching and learning of the 17th and 18th centuries to life with their ensemble.

The program features compositions by members of the Bach family and by Arcangelo Corelli, whose works became models throughout Europe.
