Following their acclaimed, sold-out debut at the Roter Salon in 2025, Spydergum are set to take to the main stage at the Volksbühne. The highlight of the evening will be the release of their eagerly awaited album – a collective sonic experiment blending improvisation, intimacy and ecstasy.

Spydergum is a large electroacoustic ensemble from Berlin, founded by Agnese Menguzzato, Diane Esnault, Philipp Hülsenbeck and Andrea Bambini. The project brings together a changing collective of influential figures from the Berlin music scene and international musicians. The result is less a fixed band than an open musical organism: each evening becomes a shared quest for a sound that only emerges in the moment of performance.
The album was recorded in 2024 during a residency at Morphine Raum. Starting from free improvisation, the music moves between neoclassical, ambient, jazz and pop. Genres are not merely referenced, but dissolve into one another – creating an ephemeral, dense tapestry of sound that straddles the line between composition and chance.
