Sol Gabetta loves her cello, chamber music, but also new compositions. The Argentinean draws with her skills to concert halls around the world. She completed her cello studies at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin with Davis Geringas. Numerous awards followed, including at the International Tchaikovsky Competition. Her artistic breakthrough came in 1998 when she won third prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich.

Sol Gabetta and Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen perform today under the baton of Paavo Järvi.
