On May 18 and 19, 2026, the Ethnological Museum Berlin, in cooperation with the German International Ethnographic Film Festival (GIEFF e. V.), invites you to the “Slices of Life” (SoL) Ethno-Film Days at the Dahlem Research Campus (FCD).

In the presence of filmmakers from Nepal, Congo, Sudan, Fiji/USA, Grenada/Denmark, Brazil/Germany, and Nigeria/UK, eight films from four continents and three films presenting current collaborative projects of the Ethnological Museum will be screened and discussed.

All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles.
