play “Fliegende Eier von Sarajevo” (Flying Eggs from Sarajevo

The play “Fliegende Eier von Sarajevo” (Flying Eggs from Sarajevo) explores the unspoken tensions between generations. Senna is the daughter of Bosnian refugees. Every year, she travels with her sister and parents to Bosnia-Herzegovina to visit the rest of their family. But one topic is never discussed within the family: the war and their flight to Germany. Senna sets out on a search of her own.

After the performance, we invite you to a discussion with the playwright and actress Senita Huskić, and actress Natalie Mukherjee. What does it mean to be the child of refugees? How do war and displacement shape the lives of the second generation?
