Showcase des Trio E.T.A. @ Lobe Space Berlin

The trio will personally guide the audience through the evening, presenting a rich and varied programme spanning from the 18th century to the modern era: alongside Franck’s Piano Trio from their latest album “un///known”, the programme features works by Haydn and Martinů – with which the trio won over the jury in Osaka, amongst others – as well as a work by Ravel.

The renowned *Strad Magazine* included the album among its ‘Recommendations of the Month’, stating: ‘captivating – and beautifully played. The Trio E.T.A. responds instinctively to the sonic world of each individual work and performs with effortless naturalness’. And NDR described their playing as ‘rich in colour in its sonic culture, intelligent and tasteful in its phrasing’.

As the trio’s namesake, E.T.A. Hoffmann has accompanied them from the very beginning: “Because he is a bridge-builder between the arts, between analysis and imagination. His thinking is a source of inspiration, his humour occasionally a source of comfort, his versatility a role model.” The trio was founded in Hamburg in 2019, won the German Music Competition prize in 2021 and was accepted into the “SWR 2 New Talent” support programme in 2023, followed by numerous concerts, radio and television productions.
