THEATER IM GLOBUS presents: Annual series of puppet theatre in Berlin – F.i.B.2026
Following the cheerful start of the ‘Jahresreihe Figurentheater in Berlin - F.i.B.2026’ (Annual Puppet Theatre Series in Berlin) in February with the popular production ‘The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats’, the Theater im Globus continues to invite lively children and alert adults of all ages to enjoy wonderful, entertaining and exciting theatre events throughout the year: nursery and primary school groups, audiences from daycare centres, families with children and other theatre enthusiasts.
In its current interpretations of fairy tales, the Theater im Globus combines drama, puppet and object theatre, as well as musical elements where appropriate, and involves different age groups in the action in an entertaining and interesting way with different narrative levels, placing particular emphasis on the diversity and beauty of language in addition to an original, pictorial narrative style.
The performances are traditionally offered in several interesting venues – each in different districts of Berlin – and can therefore be easily accessed by the audience without long journeys. This is particularly convenient for groups from surrounding schools, daycare centres and other children's facilities, as well as families from the neighbourhood.
In addition to theatre performances in public venues, individual events can also be organised, for example, directly in nurseries, schools, after-school care centres, homes, etc.

Now it becomes really clear how it all was with the miller's daughter and the gold and the king and Rumpelstiltskin. As always, the Globus Theatre finds its own unique and particularly beautiful way of conjuring up an exciting, appealing and entertaining theatrical performance for young and old alike from the fairy tale template.
With a revolving stage, the actress can switch masterfully from one act to the next and effectively showcase the quirky but always lovable characters of the fairy tale in just the right place. They all seem very familiar to us, yet they are completely different, and then there is also an unexpectedly beautiful happy ending.
The well-known fairy tale is celebrated by the Theater im Globus in its own unique, wonderful and by no means scary way. Rumpelstiltskin does everything as described by the Brothers Grimm, but in the end achieves what he wanted: he remains at the court of the queen and king as a teller of exciting stories, a talented cook – and a funny companion to the sweet little royal child.
Last but not least, the Theatre im Globus's charming version of the fairy tale shows how even the most idiosyncratic or different characters can live together in harmony and happiness.
