The Rouge Kabarett was born from the inspirations of Maïmouna Coulibaly, who wore red for 15 years of her life. For her, red expresses countless emotions – passion, power, love, anger, freedom.

On this special Halloween edition, red becomes a way to: express the demon, in order to give more space to everything positive in everyone. This night is a ritual, a celebration, a safe stage where red is not just a color – it’s an attitude, a rebellion, a liberation.

About Maïmouna Coulibaly
Maïmouna Coulibaly is an activist, author, artist and lecturer.
Originally from Mali (Soninké), she was born and raised in the Paris region of France and has been living in Berlin for 5 years.
She recently gave a TEDx talk entitled “Women’s body is a political object” and was featured in the New York Times.
