With Anna Mateur and Heiner Bomhard | Direction: Rosa von Praunheim

Rosa von Praunheim - renowned director, producer, author and activist of the LGBTQ movement - is staging his own cult film from 1971 as a musical.

Anna Mateur and Heiner Bomhard give an entertaining and hilarious interpretation of the film's role models Luzi and Dieter, who have one thing over them: they get to sing, dance and make wonderful nonsense.

After a promising beginning, the love story between Luzi, of Polish descent from Kiel, and Dietmar, from Mannheim, takes a dramatic course and, after dangerous entanglements, finally culminates in a happy ending.

In 1971, Rosa von Praunheim became the first director in Germany to direct the story in the camp style already created in America.
The FAZ wrote after the broadcast on television "Independent cinema also has its masters. The greatest in Germany Rosa von Praunheim."
