Zafraan Ensemble

With an allusion to the novel "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac, the Zafraan Ensemble presents a selection of pieces by composers who have amazed them again and again with their striking language in their joint musical journey of recent years. A programme like the collection of flowers you take home as a child. The evening presents a small anthology of personal discoveries.

Program:

Claude Vivier: Pulau Dewata (1977)

Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber: Tracasseries (2006)

James Tenney: Beast (1971)

Fausto Romitelli: Domeniche alla periferia dell’impero (1996-2000)

Zygmunt Krauze: Aus aller Welt Stammende (1973)
