for the visitor center of the March Fallen Cemetery
With the visitor center, the memorial should finally have the urgently needed space for exhibitions, events and educational work. On October 16th, the winning design of the realization competition was presented in the presence of Berlin's Senator for Culture Joe Chialo. The project is financed 50 percent each by the state of Berlin and the federal government. The process was announced by BIM.

The Berlin architectural firm AFF Architekten together with the landscape architect Birgit Hammer from Landschafts.Architektur convinced the committee and took first place.
Up to and including December 3rd there is now the opportunity to view the designs from the competition as well as the model of the winning design in the exhibition container.
