Mzia Jajanidze is a multi-award-winning concert pianist. Originally from Georgia, she began her artistic career at the age of eight with a performance in the symphony orchestra of her native city of Kutaisi. She has received several scholarships from renowned foundations, including the Elisabeth Leonskaja Foundation, that of Georgian President E. Shevardnadze, the Helene Rosenberg Foundation and last but not least the Adelhausen Foundation. Before moving to Germany in 2006, she studied with Prof. Tengiz Amirejibi at the State Conservatory in Tbilisi, then at the Freiburg Music Academy, where she passed her concert exam with Prof. Michael Leuschner with distinction.
