queer street party

The Brotfabrik, together with the Sonntagsclub, is celebrating queer life in the heart of Pankow. This year, for the first time, the street festival is being organised jointly by the Sonntags-Club e.V. and the Brotfabrik in Weißensee – a powerful collaboration aimed at bringing even greater visibility and diversity.

A fantastic stage programme aims to bring queer perspectives to Pankow’s neighbourhoods and onto the stage.

Look forward to a colourful programme full of queer beats, empowering sounds and surprising highlights. Alongside great music, a varied programme awaits you, featuring improv theatre, a drag show and the ‘Still Dance’ silent disco.

Magda Wystup will be reading from her brilliant book “Queere Tiere”.

The programme starts at 3.00 pm and ends at 9.30 pm, right outside the Brotfabrik. Alongside the stage programme, the various partner organisations will be presenting themselves at information stands; the film ‘50 Years of the Sonntags-Club’ will be screening in the cinema; there will be various activities for children, guided tours of the Brotfabrik, as well as food and drinks.

There will also be a quiet room for self-care and relaxation. The entire programme is free, open-air, accessible and for everyone!

In the event of rain, the programme will take place inside the Brotfabrik.
