Queer theater shows by and starring Pink Grimm

Pink Grimm—the drag duo Andi Buletten and Rottscha—tackles the great tragedies in *SHAKESQUEER: God Save the Queens*: *Hamlet*, *Romeo and Juliet*, and *A Midsummer Night’s Dream*. An evening exploring identity and belonging, featuring opulent costumes by Narciss & Goldfaden, rapid-fire role changes, and a deeply insightful look into the queer undercurrents of the classics.

For Pink Grimm, the question of whether Shakespeare can still be performed today doesn’t even arise. Another question is more interesting: What do these roles—written by fathers, passed down by fathers—reveal about our own losses and longings?

Power and powerlessness, the price of love, the cost of becoming visible.

Tragic? Absolutely.

Comical? Inevitable.

Timeless? Unfortunately, yes.

At a time when visibility is once again becoming a political issue, Pink Grimm is making a statement: loud, colorful, and unforgettable.

God save the Queens!
