Pottery and Beautiful Plants, Hands-On Ceramic Painting

The Späth Nurseries present the Pottery Art Market in a Mediterranean setting, under palm trees and surrounded by blooming plants. Colorful perennials are available directly from the production fields. Around the farm store fountain, the dahlias of the large dahlia show—featuring around 100 varieties—shine brightly. Pottery demonstrations on the potter’s wheel show how pottery is created.

In the blue fairy-tale hut, visitors of all ages can get hands-on: painting cups, bowls, and ceramic figurines in vibrant colors. Under guidance, they’ll create truly unique one-of-a-kind pieces.

Live music, wine tastings, and the opening of the new Palmengarten

Live bands provide the perfect backdrop to the pottery market with jazz, soul, and pop. A highlight is the opening of the Palmengarten as a new spot on the Späth grounds to relax and enjoy. From comfortable lounge chairs, with a cool drink in hand, visitors can take in the view of the blooming perennials. The herb garden, too, is perfectly geared toward a summery garden experience with artistic bonsai pots, lovingly curated one-of-a-kind garden pieces, and the diversity of its herbs. Culinary specialties are offered by Späthi’s Beer Garden, Späth’s – the restaurant, and the farm stand. The vineyard is also open with a wine bar.
