The two-day Berlin Piano Duo Festival is dedicated to free and experimental improvisation on two grand pianos. Berlin-based and international pianists meet in an unconventional setting that departs from traditional concert practices, engaging in a musical dialogue free from predetermined stylistic boundaries. The festival aims to create access for new audiences while also appealing to the regular audience of the classical, contemporary, jazz, and improvised music scenes.

Each evening of the festival will feature three outstanding piano duos, with pianists traveling from Austria, Sweden, the USA, Germany, and Switzerland.
