Victor Nicoara is a Romanian pianist and composer and lives in Berlin. He has been studying the work of Ferruccio Busoni for many years. He writes about Busoni's music: "Busoni's music deeply impressed me from the very first moment, so in my musical practice I have always tried to make his works known to a wider audience. I believe that he was much more than his reputation as an arranger and piano virtuoso: Above all, he was a brilliant composer who knew how to fuse historical musical traditions with experiments from the early 20th century without ever having to submit to any of the known forms."
