As a finalist for the Leicester Square Comedian of the Year, the Amused Moose New Comic Award, Chortle Best Newcomer, and the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, he is one of the most acclaimed stand-up comedians of his generation. He is a regular act at iconic venues such as the Angel Comedy, Top Secret Comedy Club, and Backyard Comedy. His writing has been featured on Channel 4 as well as BBC 1 & 3, and he has performed on the BBC2 show *The Mash Report*.
