Framed by stories of the Jewish author Isaac Bashevis Singer, who dedicated his book to the many children who did not have the opportunity to grow up because of the stupid wars, you will experience a lot of music during this evening.
Beginning with a composition by Galina Ustvolskaya, a woman whose works were partially banned in the Soviet Union, and continuing with Krzysztof Penderecki, whose compositional style shaped the era of the Polish avant-garde, you will hear, among other things, music by Niccolò Paganini, the circus artist among violinists who did not want anyone else to ever be able to play his works.
