How can lines, shapes and textures be made tangible? You’ll experiment with linocut and ballpoint pens as embossing tools and learn about relief and intaglio printing techniques.

Using a professional printing press, you’ll transfer your designs onto paper and create unique relief surfaces. You’ll work with special types of paper, including archival paper and the finest handmade paper.
You’ll explore how paper, tools and printing techniques interact, and how different materials and techniques influence the results.
