Pablo Miró: Basta & El Manantial – The Spring

The musician from Buenos Aires is considered one of the great talents of his generation of Argentine artists. His music, which blends various aspects of South American rhythms, shifts between folklore, tango, jazz, samba, and bossa nova.

Miró’s lighthearted lyrics should not obscure the social criticism inspired by his own life story. As a teenager, Pablo Miró fled the military junta that was then raging in his home country. Both sides of Miró will be on full display on October 9 in his double bill.
