Holiday programme for children: On this course, after-school groups explore the permanent exhibition, discover Berlin from different perspectives and tell their own stories about Berlin.

For four hours, the children go on a treasure hunt in the exhibition ‘BerlinZEIT – The City Makes History!’. What do objects reveal about people’s lives? And who actually decides which stories are told in the museum?

Through creative, hands-on activities, the children observe closely, ask questions and get to know the people who have shaped Berlin over the centuries. They learn that every story can be viewed from different angles and contribute their own ideas. In this way, they become co-narrators of the exhibition and experience history as something alive and multifaceted.

Tip: Bring along some snacks and something to drink for the lunch break.
