The Musik für Musik collective, known to us for their impressive production *Voices Between the Walls*, returns with a new musical theatre project and invites you to board one of the world’s most famous trains, the Orient Express.

A train travelling from west to east. A carriage full of strangers and people who are all leaving something behind and searching for something.
And you aren’t sitting in the audience, but right amongst the travellers. As opera, music and theatre intertwine, stories unfold that shift just like the landscapes outside the train window. Identities are thrown into question. Secrets come to light. Memories resurface in new, unexpected forms.
And what remains behind when the train reaches its destination?
Orient Express – A Place of Escape is a musical theatre production that dissolves boundaries: between the stage and the auditorium, between the past and the present, between what we reveal and what we conceal.
