Award-winning artist, composer, and producer Ólafur Arnalds today announces his most daring and adventurous project to date: Falling Apart Together, a series of 18 immersive live shows across Europe and the US that seek to bridge the distance between us.

The show transcends the boundaries of what a concert can be, revealing the layers people build to feel safe, the moments when those layers crumble, and the sense of intimacy and shared humanity that emerges when people allow themselves to open up.

Together with his team of dedicated craftspeople and musicians, Ólafur presents a captivating blend of old and new material in a conceptual show that explores what becomes possible when people open up just enough to collectively break down and dissolve the boundaries of what a concert can be.

Regarding the shows, Ólafur says: “Falling Apart Together is an attempt to bridge the distance between us. A hybrid concert that reveals the layers we build to feel safe, the moments when those layers crumble, and the sense of intimacy and shared humanity that emerges when we open up.”

Following globally acclaimed tours for “re:member” and “some kind of peace”—which sold out legendary venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Elbphilharmonie, the Sydney Opera House, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, allowing him to perform for hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide—Ólafur now returns with his most intimate and boundary-pushing work to date.
