Art as a Stroll Through Historic Boilers

“No Souvenirs – La Passeggiata in the East” brings together artistic works that explore the aftereffects of history, damaged memories, devalued spaces, and contradictory legacies. The exhibition does not view the past as property, as a memento, or as a source of nostalgia. It is not a flea market of a fallen empire.

The Kesselhaus Herzberge Museum is located on the grounds of the Königin Elisabeth Herzberge (KEH) Hospital. Since 1893, the machine and boiler house have supplied the buildings with electricity and heating. Today, it is an art and cultural venue featuring rotating exhibitions set amid historic boilers.

  • This event is part of the Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival.
