ith the Next Generation format, the Staatsballett Berlin offers its dancers the freedom and the necessary framework to expand their artistic range of expression and create their own choreographies for the stage.

Next Generation

The short works are experiments in the search for an individual choreographic signature and a reflection of what concerns the next generation of artists. Whether dealing with well-known movement material, personal experiences, literary models or current discourses - there are no limits to the forms and topics.

The results, as diverse as the choreographers themselves, will be premiered in a multi-part evening in the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Please note that there is no box office for performances in the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Tickets are available in advance online, by email, by telephone or at the box office of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin and the Staatsoper Unter den Linden.
