“Small Problems” – Reading with Chamber Music

In her novel “Little Problems”, Berlin author Nele Pollatschek tells a funny, tragic and philosophical story about how difficult it is not to put life off until tomorrow.

Members of the Konzerthausorchester are also familiar with this age-old current problem and test chamber music from different centuries as an antidote.

“But basically it doesn't really matter what the weather was like, you just have to start somehow, and then you start with the weather, because that's easy, and especially at the beginning you have to make it easy for yourself, because you know that all beginnings are hard and, you also know that, middles are even harder, so you have to make it easy at the beginning so that you still have something left for the middle with all its troubles.”
