These NachtKlänge concerts place handpans (Hang-like instruments) at the center. The program features projects in which handpans are combined with other instruments. The fascinating bell-like sound of this hand-played acoustic metal resonator has become increasingly popular around the world.

The original design has since been greatly expanded by various handpan makers, offering a wider range of pitches and tunings and opening up new playing techniques and sonic colors.

  • Moritz Schmejkal (handpan solo)
  • Mandakini (handpan) & Dakimi (vocals)
  • Beate Gatscha (handpan) & Pandit Radheshyam Sharma (pakhawaj)
  • Tivadar Nemesi (handpan, recorder) & Hakan Tugrul (santur)

Concert as part of the series “NachtKlänge – Listening with the Heart."

NachtKlänge is a concert series focusing on transcultural acoustic music in an atmospheric setting, taking place mainly during the colder months.

Thanks to underfloor heating and mats, the music can also be enjoyed while lying down.

After the concert, there will be an opportunity to meet and connect with the musicians.
