The multi-award-winning author Yevgenia Belorusets has been documenting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine since February 2022. In this programme, she takes us back to the Soviet era – a time of control, in which the accordion created a private space for exchange.

Motion Trio
What kind of connections does music – and an accordion – create? Janusz Wojtarowicz, Paweł Baranek and Marcin Głądziyn’s ‘Motion Trio’ joins her in exploring this question. The trio began with street performances and, having released 14 albums, has received acclaim from both jazz and classical critics.
