Germany’s most-booked CSD act kicks off BKA PRIDE MONTH for the third time: A safe space in a pop package!

MKSM—a singer, songwriter, violinist, and activist with Russian-Ukrainian roots—embodies inclusive German-language pop.
In 2026, the artist was honored by the Berlin Senate for his commitment and is also an ambassador for the Federal Association for Stuttering & Self-Help. He has performed his songs at venues including the Hamburg State Opera, the Theater des Westens, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and ZDF.
For his ACOUSTIC CONCERT at the BKA Theater, the artist will perform songs from his EP “Was Liebe wirklich kann” (What Love Can Really Do)—a moving blend of acoustic pop, delicate arrangements, and themes such as love, identity, and belonging from the perspective of a queer ethnic German returnee. Of course, previously unreleased songs will also be featured, making their stage debut that evening.
A PRIDE MONTH opening driven by gripping lyrics and accompanied by violin, grand piano, and guitar.
