The Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest archaeological museums in the world and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Pyramids of Giza. It houses an impressive collection of artifacts from Ancient Egypt, including the complete treasures of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, which are being displayed together for the first time.

The museum combines modern architecture with innovative exhibition technology and a research and restoration center.
Visitors gain a comprehensive insight into Egyptian history—from the earliest cultures through the Greco-Roman period.
In this four-part lecture series, Egyptologists will present their favorite objects from the newly opened galleries of the GEM.
The series is aimed at a broad audience and offers a 45-minute journey through spectacular, extraordinary, and previously unseen artifacts in each session. This will be followed by an open Q&A session, during which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the objects that particularly interest them.
The series is a collaboration between the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection in Berlin and the Egyptian Cultural Office of the Egyptian Embassy in Berlin.
