Madsen on a big "Smile" album tour in autumn 2026

Few German bands can boast ten studio albums and over 20 years of success – Madsen will soon be among them. In May 2026, the band from Lower Saxony will release their tenth album, "Smile."

Madsen announce tenth studio album "Smile" and major German tour in 2026

The title track, "Smile," will be released at the end of January, offering a first taste of the new album.

Over 20 years of Madsen: From the beginning to a number-one album

Brothers Sebastian, Johannes, and Sascha Madsen founded the band together with Niko Maurer in the early 2000s. Their self-titled debut album, "Madsen," was released in 2005, followed a year later by "Goodbye Logik," a seminal work in their discography. With consistent releases, the band has steadily evolved. Their most recent album, “Hollywood”, was released in 2023 on the band’s own label and marked their first number-one success in the German album charts.
