Luca Sestak is a pianist, composer, and a musician who moves effortlessly between genres. He first gained fame at the age of eleven with piano videos on the internet. Today, he has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, and his concerts take him to stages all over the world. With virtuosic technique, great enthusiasm, and a subtle sense of humor, he captivates audiences far beyond the boundaries of jazz and classical music.

His latest album, *Lighter Notes*, blends classical, jazz, and his own compositions in surprising ways. Chopin takes on a funk groove, Bach seems to find his way into a jazz club, and unusual timbres emerge from piano strings prepared with felt or tape.
Together with his trio, Luca Sestak presents a diverse program spanning jazz, classical, pop, blues, and funk. Virtuosity meets spontaneity, joy of playing, and musical curiosity—at times energetic and rousing, at other times delicate and lyrical.
At the concert on October 13, the trio will be joined by saxophonist Jakob Manz, one of Germany’s most exciting young jazz musicians. Together, they open up new worlds of sound—from delicate melodies to rousing improvisations.
