Since 2005, the annual “Long Night of Choirs” has been one of the most popular and best-attended music events in Berlin-Moabit. It is organized by the Cantorei of the Reformationskirche and typically brings together more than 25 amateur choirs of various sizes and musical styles.

The program is as diverse as the ensembles themselves. Small neighborhood groups participate alongside renowned concert choirs.

Choirs—primarily from Berlin—are eager to perform, presenting their best pieces in 15-minute time slots. Anyone can come whenever they like, and experience shows that most people stay for a long time. The church can accommodate up to 500 guests. Refreshments are also provided.

The policy for the Long Night of Choirs is “Free admission—donations welcome.” No one who enjoys choral music should be excluded because of the admission price. Donations help support rehearsal and concert activities at the Reformationskirche.

From 5:00 p.m. until midnight, 28 ensembles will delight guests in the packed Reformationskirche—a long evening filled with wonderful choral and orchestral music!
