Out of boredom, the self-sufficient and immortal goddess Iris creates people. Envious, she discovers that they are capable of something that the goddess herself will never be able to do: they can love each other and die. Now the goddess absolutely wants to experience love and death herself. And in the meantime, people begin to strive for the goddess's sovereignty.

The "theatrum litfaßsäule" sees itself as a place where the almost infinite realities of this city can come together in the form of scenic images. To realize these, they combine acting, dance, clowning, music, digital scenography and sculpture.

The stage design is a homage to Eberhard Fiebig's folded steel column "Modulor".
