Since time immemorial, the clear starry sky has inspired people all over the world to tell stories. They looked up at the countless points of light and tried to create order through constellations to help them find their way—for to them, the sky served as both a calendar and a compass.

Many of the constellations that people still use today are thousands of years old, originating in ancient Babylon and passed down to us through Egyptian, Greek, and finally Roman culture.

In the sky there are gods and goddesses, kings and queens, heroes and heroines, monsters, and magical objects—all with their own stories. From Princess Andromeda to the Minotaur and Orpheus’s search for his beloved Eurydice: “Legends of the Night Sky” tells the enduring legends of ancient cultures beneath the dome of the planetarium.

Immerse yourself in the fantasy world of a distant past in 360°, lovingly and elaborately illustrated by Ukrainian filmmaker Iryna Filipova and her team.
