A dance performance about the hesitation between impulse and movement
Misunderstandings pile up; anti-communication becomes an endless space. “Lamento for Latency” is a dance performance about the hesitation between impulse and movement, touch and echo. Latency describes the delay between an event and the subsequent reaction. It is both a technical phenomenon and a deeply human experience—of time, closeness, and what is lost before it arrives.
The performance focuses on the body—absent from the digital fabric—as it receives, delays, and transmits. Two dancers form a real-time network in which connection and delay, resonance and misunderstanding are inextricably interwoven.
