Under the title “Art in a Square”, the Brose House is showing an exhibition of works by Pankow artist Susanne Kiener. Her works unite two fascinating worlds of art: three-dimensional works on paper and watercolors.

Ausstellung Kunst im Quadrat
What unites all the exhibits is the square format - but each work tells its own story. The majority of the works consist of elaborately crafted paper artworks that have been formed into complex three-dimensional structures using sophisticated processes. The surfaces are worked in such detail and partly coloured that the original material is barely recognizable.
These works on paper invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of structure and form. The exhibition is complemented by atmospheric watercolors that take up the theme of water in all its facets. Through the transparent lightness of the watercolor technique, the artist captures the moving surface of the water, its surroundings and its calming stillness.
