Small format art at small prices in Wedding

The Künstler:innen der Gerichtshöfe Wedding invite you again to KUNST im KARTON, the small, short and affordable art fair in Wedding. This was created in 2019 as a contemporary successor to the long-standing and popular Santa Claus Vernissage MoKuzuMimi with art in (plastic) bags.

Discover NEW
Twenty-three artists:inside present their works in recycled fruit and vegetable cartons and use them as original presentation frames for their artworks. Every year new participants enrich the wide spectrum of art on offer: painting, object, photography, jewelry, collage. Who sells, may rehang, so almost the whole evening is provided for a consistently large and varied offer.

Acquire VALUABLE
Behind every work of art - no matter how small - there is a story and individual work. And yet the artists offer their works at very attractive prices up to a maximum of 200 euros. Over mulled wine, apple punch and cookies, visitors can discover art in 276 boxes and purchase their favorites. At a packing station, these will be packed handily and free of charge on request. But better yet, visitors bring their own bags or pouches.

Experience ORIGINALITY
The vibrancy and constant transformation of the city is also reflected in the changing rooms that GESOBAU makes available to the artists in the courtyards as exhibition venues. Two years ago, it was the comfortably converted guest floor; this year, the urban charm of a former factory floor beckons.
