For people with visual impairments, blind people, and sighted people

As part of the exhibition ‘On to New Works! Max Slevogt, Bruno Cassirer and Max Liebermann’, we invite you to join us for a tactile tour of the Liebermann Villa and its garden.

The tour is aimed particularly at blind and visually impaired visitors, but is also open to sighted guests who would like to discover the site in a new way.

Selected objects and materials can be explored with the hands. Through the conscious perception of shapes, surfaces and textures, visitors gain direct access to art and history. Vivid descriptions complement the tactile experience and bring the rooms, garden and selected works to life.

The tactile tour is led by two experienced art educators and is specially tailored to the needs of blind and visually impaired visitors. It combines tactile experiences with in-depth art education and encourages shared discussion.

Standard museum admission applies.

Participation in the tour is included. Places are limited.

  • Book at: dornieden@liebermann-villa.de
