Family concert for the Year of the Tuba 2024 at the Musikinstrumenten-Museum
The family concert is part of the exhibition ‘Tiefes Blech. A brief history of the low brass instruments’ for the Year of the Tuba 2024 at the Musical Instrument Museum. It puts the tuba at the centre of one of the magical productions of the Puppenphilharmonie Berlin.
The puppets build a bridge to music, encouraging impartiality and curiosity. Adults and children alike get their money's worth, both aesthetically and musically.
Composer and tuba player Jonas Urbat also works innovatively. As co-founder of the Stegreif.Orchestra, he gained experience in the choreography and performance of classical compositions. With his experimental formats, he is looking for new ways to combine music and technology.
- The concert is suitable for children aged three and up.
The concert is supported by the Landesmusikrat Berlin and the Buffet Crampon brands B&S Markneukirchen Klingenthal and Melton, Meinl, Weston.d 3 and over.
