As the world's largest indoor athletics meeting, the event not only thrills with top athletic performances but also with an impressive show featuring pyrotechnics, light displays, and a captivating atmosphere. For fans, this means: top-level sport up close and an event full of energy.

EVERY YEAR – NEW RECORDS

ISTAF INDOOR 2025 once again became a record-breaking spectacle. In the sold-out Uber Arena, over 12,000 enthusiastic spectators celebrated their passion for athletics. Whether ISTAF records, European records, or national records – the athletes delivered impressive performances. The emotional highlight came when pole vault superstar "Mondo" Duplantis cleared 6.10 meters seemingly effortlessly – higher than ever before in ISTAF history. A spectacular new meet record that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

At ISTAF INDOOR, the audience can expect a diverse program of sprint, jump, and throw events:

ISTAF INDOOR SCHOOLS CUP – YOUNG TALENT ON THE BIG STAGE

First, the six fastest athletes in each of four 50-meter races will be determined. This will be followed by the grand team final:

A mixed shuttle relay over 20 x 50 meters, in which six school teams will compete against each other, sprinting for victory. The Schools Cup brings young athletes a real competitive atmosphere – right in the heart of a top international event.

WHEELCHAIR SQUADS – SPORT CONNECTS

Another special highlight is the 50-meter races for young wheelchair athletes from the German Wheelchair Sports Association. For many young athletes, this competition is the sporting highlight of the year. Winning isn't the only focus. Since the participants come from different age groups and skill levels, the races are intentionally not scored in the traditional way.

Instead, the focus is on experience, community and enthusiasm for sport – values that ISTAF INDOOR has embodied for many years.
