733 days, 2 hours and 35 minutes. Some periods end with a date. Others with an agreement.
The exhibition “Israel 733:02:35” by the German-Israeli Society, Würzburg branch, documents the consequences of the Hamas terrorist attack on 7 October 2023 on the kibbutzim Be’eri and Nir Oz, as well as on the Nova Festival in Israel.
Photographs, video interviews and a walk-through installation bring the affected locations and the traces of the events to life.
Destroyed buildings, personal stories and film footage offer different perspectives on the events and show how the memory and commemoration of 7 October are being shaped. The exhibition creates a space in which the consequences of the attack and its impact on those affected can be understood.
