Berlin will once again become the capital of barrel organ music for the 45th International Barrel Organ Festival. From July 3 to 5, 2026, the cream of the crop of barrel organ artists will gather in Berlin once more with thousands of fans from many countries—for the first time on the Greenwich Promenade, right on Lake Tegel.

Internationales Drehorgelfest
Over 100 barrel organ players from Germany and abroad will showcase the fascinating diversity of barrel organ music along the Greenwich Promenade.
Barrel organ enthusiasts will come to Berlin from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, England, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and the U.S., among other places, to play their barrel organs together.
Visitors can look forward to a varied program featuring historical and modern instruments, musical performances at multiple locations, live music, food and drink options, and the traditional parade through Tegel.
The highlight of the festival is the grand parade on Saturday starting at 10 a.m., proceeding from Borsigdamm to the Tegeler Seeterrassen.
The International Barrel Organ Festival is one of the most significant events of its kind and offers a special experience for the whole family in a maritime atmosphere right on Lake Tegel.
- Admission is free, but the hat collectors at the barrel organs welcome any donations!
