International Short Film Festival Berlin – FOCUS ON: SHARED SHORES
Accompanying and drawing on the FOCUS program Revolutionary Women of West Asia, which treats feminist and revolutionary perspectives in the region, this workshop provides a look at the entire curation process. How does a program take shape, and what conceptional decisions have to be made along the way?
Step by step, we will follow the process, discuss key questions and speak about which knowledge, expertise and networks are essential for responsible curation. In addition, taking two films as examples, we will provide insight into the specific challenges involved in curatorial practice.
