International Short Film Festival Berlin – FOCUS ON: SHARED SHORES
Five films explore the role of women in revolutionary movements in West Asia, with a focus on Iran and Palestine: at what point do we speak of a movement – and at what point of a revolution? How is resistance expressed in different social and political contexts, and where can parallels be drawn between these struggles? In doing so, the films offer insights into collective memory, resistance and the visibility of women as key agents of social change.
