INTERFILM42: Fishbowl: Handling of AI in Documentary Films – To Whom Does Reality Belong?
In documentary film in particular, generative AI raises new questions about authenticity and ethical responsibility: under what conditions can it be used effectively – and when should it not be? It opens up new narrative and creative possibilities and makes filmmaking more accessible. At the same time, it threatens to fundamentally change – or even displace – existing professional fields.
In the Fishbowl, we’ll be discussing these issues with you and guests from various perspectives within documentary practice.
