At just 17 years old, Felix Fechenbach began fighting for social justice. Alongside Kurt Eisner, he sparked the revolution in Bavaria in 1918. During the Weimar Republic, Fechenbach became a renowned journalist, while also working as a puppeteer and author. His fearless stance during the election campaign against Hitler in the small state of Lippe made him a prime enemy of the Nazis.
With its wild mix of puppetry and acting, the production whirls through the eventful life story of Felix Fechenbach and catapults him into our present.
After all, don’t we need courageous fighters for democracy like him again today?
